Thorn and Rose

This Cinco de Mayo-friendly recipe comes from Chicago’s Sable Kitchen & Bar. It begins with tequila and sherry — two very complementary ingredients — and then adds the bright, citrus-y tomatillo juice and rosemary syrup to round things out. It’s a fine alternative to the margarita that still provides the tequila punch you crave this time of year.

Thorn and Rose
  1. Combine ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass.
