ivanabitch tobacco flavored vodka

ivanabitch tobacco flavored vodkaToday, International Spirits announced the launch of Ivanabitch Tobacco Flavored Vodka and Menthol Tobacco Flavored Vodka.

…..

Ivanabitch is based in the Netherlands, where they produce a line of spirits, including vodka, brandy and gin. It’s billed as “vodka with attitude.” The website hurts my eyes. And the bottle packaging is akin to an ecstasy-fueled rave etched onto glass.

If you can get past all that, the regular Ivanabitch vodka itself is pretty standard stuff. Neutral grain spirit. Cut with spring water. Distilled five times. Triple filtered. Okay, that’s fine. Nothing unusual about that. Even the flavors (everything from lemon and orange to whipped cream and coconut) seem in line with other vodka brands.

But then they go ahead and introduce tobacco flavored vodka. Which, let’s be honest: pretty ballsy. In an era where vodka is flavored with everything from PB&J to smoked salmon, tobacco still raises an eyebrow.

According to CEO Tony Elward, they’re hoping to capitalize on the 45 million Americans who smoke. He’s confident that Ivanabitch Tobacco Flavored Vodka will find a niche in the crowded flavored vodka market, and that even non-smokers will find something to like in the novelty product.

From the company —

“Ivanabitch Traditional Tobacco Vodka features a bold taste of smoky vanilla blended with sweet caramel. The Menthol Tobacco Vodka features the same taste as the Traditional Tobacco Vodka with a hint of mint.”

Both will be available in 750ml bottles with a suggested retail price of $12.99.

Hey, at least it’s cheap.
