Compass Box Whisky Intros Great King Street Artist’s Blend

Compass Box Whisky Co. – the guys behind innovative, small batch drams like Peat Monster, Hedonism and Spice Tree – is rolling out a lineup of affordable blends called Great King Street. The first to be released is Artist’s Blend, a versatile expression to be enjoyed neat, over ice or in whisky cocktails. It launches nationally in October.

Great King Street Artist’s Blend combines delicate Lowland grain whiskies with more robust, complex Highland single malts and a touch of Speyside malts. Wood influences include first-fill American oak, new French oak and first-fill Sherry butts. The grain/malt makeup and wood trio form a whisky that’s rich, round and fruity with hints of toasted oak, vanilla and spice.

Artist’s Blend is bottled naturally, with no added color or chill filtering, and it’s available in 750ml and 375ml sizes.

– 43% Alcohol by Volume
– $45 for 750ml / $24 for 375ml
