Zodiac Vodka Launches in Texas, Makes a Couple Cocktails

There’s a new vodka in town. It’s called Zodiac, and it’s distilled from potatoes at the brand’s Rigby, Idaho distillery. It’s then blended with water from the Snake River Aquifer, which runs beneath the distillery, and it’s filtered through Canadian birch charcoal. All that creates a clean tasting and naturally sweet vodka.

For now, Zodiac is only available in Texas, but they’ll be expanding distribution to other states early next year. They will also introduce a potato-based Black Cherry flavored vodka in the next few months. In the meantime, we’ve got a couple Zodiac cocktails from Brian McCullough, barkeep at the Standard Pour in Dallas.
