At Meauxbar in New Orleans, the bar team is combining adult beverages and childhood nostalgia with this take on the traditional summertime dessert, peaches and cream. Bourbon and Cynar make up the boozy backbone of this drink, while peach shrub and smoked peach pit tincture handle the fruit part of the equation. Condensed milk supplies the creamy element, tying things together into a sweet, peachy, alcoholic cocktail that resembles a snow cone. Drink up while it’s still hot enough to render such things necessary.

1.5 oz bourbon
1.5 oz peach shrub
.5 oz Cynar
Shake with ice, then strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice. Top with more ice to create a mound. Spray peach tincture over the ice, and top with condensed milk.
