Blackberry Mint Julep Margarita

In this riff on the traditional mint julep, we substitute anejo tequila for bourbon. Since anejo tequilas — in this case, Milagro Anejo — are often aged in used bourbon casks, the two spirits work well when subbed in for one another. Here lime juice and blackberries are added for a tart, fruit-forward hybrid that’s part julep, part margarita.
